A simple learning routine

Before, during and after each episode

A few small prompts can turn a video into an active learning experience.

1

Before watching

Read the title together and ask what the child already knows or expects to discover.

  • Introduce one key word
  • Invite a prediction
  • Choose a comfortable viewing time
2

While watching

Let the story flow, but pause when a question, example or song invites participation.

  • Sing or count along
  • Notice useful examples
  • Replay a tricky explanation
3

After watching

Ask the child to explain the big idea in their own words and connect it to everyday life.

  • Recall one new fact
  • Draw, act or demonstrate it
  • Celebrate effort and questions
Choosing what fits

Age guides are a starting point—not a limit.

Our episode catalogue uses broad age and grade labels to help grown-ups begin. Children develop differently, so interests, prior knowledge, language confidence and individual learning needs matter more than a label alone.

Flexible ways to learn

Made for home and classroom support

At home

Use an episode as a shared activity, a conversation starter or a playful extension of something the child noticed during the day.

  • Co-view when possible
  • Keep sessions short and purposeful
  • Connect ideas to daily life
  • Follow the child’s questions

In the classroom

Use an episode to introduce a topic, reinforce a key idea, start a discussion or support a simple group activity.

  • Set one learning intention
  • Pause for observation and prediction
  • Invite different ways to respond
  • Check understanding afterwards
